Well, Classical Conversations Plus<\/a> (CC Plus) checks all the above and more so that homeschoolers can earn college credit through various program options.<\/p>\n

What is CC Plus?<\/h2>\n

CC Plus enables homeschoolers (both students and parents) to earn college credit and college degrees through several program opportunities. Whether it\u2019s your student\u2019s goal to receive dual enrollment while in high school or to pursue their undergraduate degree online post-graduation, CC Plus has got your student covered. And, for homeschool parents, you can receive your master\u2019s degree through CC Plus simply by homeschooling your child through the Classical Conversations Challenge<\/a> program.<\/p>\n

Through our partnership with Florida\u2019s Southeastern University<\/a> (SEU), CC Plus offers accredited courses that equip students with regional college credits. Should your student wish to pursue higher education further, they can transfer these credits to a brick-and-mortar institution to opt out of courses they\u2019ve already completed through CC Plus.<\/p>\n

CC Plus College Degrees and Opportunities for Homeschool Families<\/h2>\n

There are several program options through CC Plus that offer college credits for homeschoolers, both for students and parents:<\/p>\n

Homeschool Dual Enrollment Courses<\/h3>\n

Ever wondered whether homeschoolers can take college classes to receive dual credit that covers both high school- and college-level courses? Through the CC Plus Program<\/a>, your student can!<\/p>\n

The CC Plus Program is an opportunity where Classical Conversations students can select and enroll in dual enrollment courses during their high school homeschool education in Challenge II<\/a>, Challenge III<\/a>, and Challenge IV<\/a>. The content of these courses \u2014 which offer credit for many general elective courses students take in college, like English, Chemistry, American History, Philosophy, College Algebra, Western Civilization, and more \u2014 comprise mostly of coursework your student will already complete in the three upper Challenge levels.<\/p>\n

On the one hand, this demonstrates that the Challenge program effectively prepares students for college-level coursework. On the other hand, it means homeschool students can<\/strong> receive quality college credits and not spend an inordinate amount of study time devoted to extra dual enrollment coursework.<\/p>\n

Undergraduate Program for Homeschool Students<\/h3>\n

CC Plus also offers college degrees for homeschoolers. Specifically, your student can enroll in CC Plus\u2019s Undergraduate Program<\/a> to receive their bachelor\u2019s or associate\u2019s degree by taking college classes online.<\/p>\n

The Undergraduate Program is again only possible thanks to our collaboration with Southeastern University. For each course completed through the program, SEU will grant a student college credit. And for total completion of the Undergraduate Program, Southeastern will award a student a full, accredited college degree.<\/p>\n

Master\u2019s Degree for Homeschool Parents<\/h3>\n

While you certainly don\u2019t need a degree to homeschool your child, you can earn one while homeschooling through the Classical Conversations Challenge program.<\/p>\n

Basically, what this means is that if you homeschool your child through high school using the Challenge curriculum, you can receive your Master of Arts in Classical Studies. It doesn\u2019t get much more convenient than that!<\/p>\n

The M.A. in Classical Studies Program<\/a> through CC Plus, possible by our partnership with Southeastern University, offers a distinctive\u00a0and comprehensive study of classical, Christian education and its application to children’s learning, home education, personal formation, and family learning in community. This master\u2019s program is both theoretical and applied, meaning you\u2019ll be engaged in teaching, curriculum development, and community leadership throughout the program.<\/p>\n

The Odyssey Program for Homeschool Graduates<\/h3>\n

If your student is considering taking a gap year after graduation, encourage them to consider the Odyssey Program<\/a> with CC Plus. This program is designed to improve recent graduates\u2019 personal, academic, and spiritual development, all within a community of peers and mentors.<\/p>\n

Often, graduates need time to think deeply about where God has called them on this journey we call life. And the Odyssey Program is the perfect opportunity to do just that. During this gap year program, your student will have the chance to travel, receive up to 30 college credit hours, and discover who they are in Christ.<\/p>\n

Is CC Plus Right for Your Family?<\/h2>\n

For students seeking dual enrollment or a college degree or for parents pursuing a master\u2019s degree, CC Plus is a great opportunity for homeschool families who want college credit.<\/p>\n

CC Plus is especially a welcoming alternative to enrolling in a brick-and-mortar institution to receive college credit. For example, if you homeschool to earn your master\u2019s degree through CC Plus, you won\u2019t have to devote extra time to pursuing your higher education.
